The room was spotlessly clean and recently refurbished. the staff were helpful and outstandingly friendly. - the location was convenient in the middle of the city.

The room as such was newly decorated.

The best aspect of the HJ's @ Kemptville was its location. I was happy to have a nonsmoking room,a tv, a few working lights(not all worked) and a heater that worked. So... Not being picky and not spending a lot of time in the room it was okay. I did check for bedbugs(none), but that might give you a hint of the hotel.

The place was very clean with incredibly helpful staff, large beds, and a satisfying breakfast. The convenient location was a great plus.

The beds are spacious, I had a great night's sleep in a large, modern room; the location is fantastic, close to a music festival, the highway, and shopping and dining spots.

No one at front desk. Rooms are tired.Linen is gray and thin.Bathroom fixtures are worn out. Bad smells.I Was surprised that HoJo would be affiliated with this facility. My on line booking was lost eventhough I had a confirmation number. No problem though, they had lots of rooms and probably always do.

The renovated rooms here are nice, there's a decent breakfast provided and the facilities are good.

The refrigerator kept the drinks cold.

I didn't realize Howard Johnson owned such facilities. This was an old worn out motel.The ceiling was falling down, the wallpaper was patched with duct tape, the metal kleenex box cover was rusty. The "breakfast nook" was a table inside the front door, across from the reservation desk with a toaster on it. Very Welcoming.

It was a quite comfortable stay, modern and quiet place. The rooms were reasonably large and had a microwave oven, coffee/tea making machines and a refrigerator.

Whenever I'm in the area, I always pick this spot. It's a great home base for checking out some cool places nearby. the staff here are super friendly and nice. 😊

This is the third time we have stayed here in 6 years and this was a vast improvement over the first time. The fact the restaurant is now open is an added feature which should help here. I hope the restaurant and motel can strike up a deal so they can compete with the nearby restaurants.

There was no heat in the room when we got there and they had not received our booking through you as of 3:30 the day after we had booked. It would be nice if you could be more expedient in sending through the bookings and if the motel could have at least minimum heat on when guests arrive especially in the winter.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Caa discount - very affordable price. Two sinks in the room Coffee maker that by being one cup only, there's not pot to keep flavour so I could make tea without coffee tasting water. Thanks!

We were delighted with our stay at Surestay Hotel in Kemptville. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and exceptional service. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with new furniture and a fresh coat of paint. The hardwood floors added a touch of elegance to the space. The continental breakfast offered a variety of treats, and the coffee maker was a pleasant surprise, brewing different flavors to suit every taste. We also appreciated the beautiful grounds, with its vast grassy area and lovely flowers. we had a wonderful experience at Surestay Hotel.

the girl at night who was also doing the laundry was very pleasant and spent a long time to get me a light bulb (there was none in the lamp) but she looked until she found one.

it was not up to the standards I expect from HJ the yard had stuff all over the place , a lot of it was or should of been garbage. At one spopt particularly it was a total mess of kids toys, old chairs, junk +++ very rundown buildings and grounds I would tell anyone not to go there

Great location! We had a room with a bathtub which was perfect. It was super close to the music festival, restaurants, and even Canada 🎶🍽🍁.
